LEILANI

Hula Dance Instructor, Founder & Practitioner of Ke Ola Ha’a Holistic Healing Practice

Leilani also known as Vanessa "Moani’ala" Thill is a professional hula dancer, instructor and the founder of a healing practice she named the Ke Ola Ha’a Holistic Healing Practice. Raised with Hawaiian spiritual values, customs and beliefs,  Leilani began her training in hula as a teenager living between Paris and Honolulu.

Leilani is the daughter of Kilohana Silve, a renowned Kumu Hula (master in the art of Hula) and founder of Hula for Wellness. She is also the co-director of the Festival des arts d’Hawaii,  a pluridisciplinary festival promoting traditional Hawaian culture in France, in addition to being the treasurer for the France-Hawai’i Association, which was founded by her mother, Kilohana Silve in 1992. The mission of the France-Hawai’i association is to promote various aspects of Hawaiian culture, philosophy and spirituality in France, the first and currently the only Hawaiian school of dance in France. The class offerings include the art of chanting, hula, protocols, ukulele, the creation of flower lei and Lomi Lomi massage throughout the year.

With over 16 years of experience teaching hula to adults and kids under her belt, Moani’ala recently devised a soul and body healing method, which she calls Ke Ola Ha’a meaning: “the Dance of Life”. This Dance (Ha’a) practice self incorporates spirituality, voice and creative movements from different traditions with a core base in traditional Hawaiian essential values and techniques such as Māna (energy) or Hā (breath).

The purpose of this holistic practice is to encourage women on the path to wholistic healing to unearth their sacred feminine energy, and reveal their authentic selves through the realignment of mind, body and soul. It has been intentionally crafted and designed to support women in their desire to find their inner light and purpose, to find balance, and to ignite and embrace their sensuality.
